Last year I went to China. It was my eighth trip there.

I was handing out some money to poor people (A gift from a client in the USA) when I stumbled upon a group of students standing outside a busy shopping centre and holding up a poster of a beautiful young Chinese girl.

As I stopped to look at the poster, I saw that it told the story of a young girl who, a few months earlier, had been the victim of a vicious and unprovoked attack.

Her 23 year old cousin sufferes from a mental illness and in a fit of rage had poured sulphuric acid all over her.

A Chinese friend that was with me said; "Chris, this poor girl should give up and die"  As I looked at the young kid on the poster all I could think was: "Someone, somewhere should do something to help this poor child"
