When Sydney man Juan Mann returned from London with a broken heart (due to breaking up with his girlfriend) he stood at the arrivals terminal looking at all the people hugging one another and felt dejected, lonely and miserable.

No one was there waiting to hug Juan.

So he made a simple cardboard sign with the Words "Free Hugs" written on it and stood in a busy Sydney street holding it aloft for all the world to see.

His video has now been viewed almost Twenty-Seven MILLION times.
